The Anglican Church Southern Queensland covers a geographical area of over 500,000 square kilometres, including metropolitan, regional and remote areas and urban, desert, rainforest and coastal terrain. This diversity lends an exciting richness to our more than 130 parishes who serve their respective communities via a range of ministries, including through Sunday and weekday services, children’s and youth ministry, Bible studies and small group gatherings, emergency food relief pantries, soup kitchens, op shops, playgroups, crisis centres, café outreach, community gardens and advocacy initiatives, among many others. Our clergy, staff, volunteers and partner organisations are dedicated to working alongside each other to carry out the Church’s mission, as outlined in the Anglican Communion’s Marks of Mission.
